Shamed into using an NHS discount card today at Calvin Klein Cheshire Oaks today. When I asked to use my discount the young blond girl behind the desk called some smug guy over to authorise it, slyly say ‘it’s one of them, both exchanging smug looks.
I called them up on it sarcastically adding ‘times are hard’
I am far more amused than upset by this whole situation. While these two idiots were probably furloughed and sat on their behinds for two years I was hard at work. The discount was minimal but why not claim it.
