From his perennially popular striped accessories to finely tailored fashions for men and women, this English institution's creations are always a hit. The various Paul Smith collections (there are currently over a dozen) are characterised, in the designer’s own words, as “classic with a twist”, inspired by the traditional British clothing he admires, from the hand-made tweeds of the Nottinghamshire county set to the bespoke suits in unusual blues or greens that he wore himself.

Was here during summer. Although lots of tourists are wandering around I loved the atmosphere of people being happy with finding lots of good clothes for affordable prices. I'm not a fan of shopping myself, was here to please my wife – she was super delighted.
